The Providers Movie

Olney Central College Library 305 NW Street 305 North West St, Olney

Tuesday, April 2, a grant partnership between PBS and SIU School of Medicine will be bringing a documentary film screening to Olney Central College’s auditorium called “The Providers”. This documentary is about rural medicine and all of the issues that are surrounding it – financial, opioid crisis, OB crisis, lack of providers, etc…. There are only 3 locations in the state of IL that this documentary is being shown and Olney is one of them. PBS has started running on air the promo for this, as well as NPR.   What ignites your child? Here is a chance to allow them to explore and create something new each month, helping them find their spark. Eight monthly free classes will be held at the Olney Public Library and led by a University of Illinois staff. Classes will begin at 4:00 p.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. Students 2nd grade and older are eligible. Class size is limited so sign up today!
